[MyGame] Grim Dawn

Depraved Sanctuary is a sort of mini dungeon. It won't help to go back later, the mobs will keep being higher level than you. I think they stop at level 40 or 50 though, so you can go back then, but it might be pointless.

You will have to play carefully and power through.

Plonk your personal portal infront of the first boss and then just come back when you die and keep fighting. The fight won't reset and his health will be down to where you got it before dying. :)

Damnit, that explains a couple of things. :) Thanks, I will try that method.

Lemme know if you don't come right, I can come and help you through it if you want.

I'm almost done with the first run through of the game. I'm 1 level/room away from the final boss. After that I'm going to run Steps of Torment and then Bastion of Chaos, before starting Elite difficulty.

Wow you are quick! Nicely done!

A bit off topic but I'll be starting Dark Souls 2 on the XBone in November if you'd like to join me.

This build of mine is really wrecking it, and I have enjoyed it tons, probably why it is going so quick. (Also, I'm done. Killed the final boss).

Don't think I can link a specific achi, but here is a list. Luckily achievements were introduced to the game after I finished it previously, so it works :)

On the off topic part, yeah sure, just yesterday I was saying to some friends I'd like to start DS2 some time. :)

I ran and finished both Steps of Torment and Bastion of Chaos, not I just have to do the Hidden Path side quest thing, then I'm done (I think) and will go on to Elite.

Bastion of Chaos is a lot harder than Steps of Torment, especially the final boss.

If anyone needs help with something, or needs something to be dead, let me know and I can help out :)

I bought DS2 SofFS this weekend when it was on sale. And while I'm currently playing it while chilling in bed via a xbox controller on a tv screen....I'm still PC Master Race baby! :D Steam Stream ftw! :D

Beat Cronley last night. That mofo kept on spawning all his little critter hordes but they were no match for my Force Wind!

Also I sat in Discord all alone.

I died.

There's a quest Kasparov gives you once you reach honored reputation with Devil's Crossing and unfortunately while trying to complete it I got trapped in a room with a poisoned floor, the kind that takes big chunks out of your life if you stand in it for too long. Up until this point I had never seen my health go down so I panicked when it did and I didn't react quickly enough to save myself from dying.

Lê Sigh. I would've finished the game last week already if I didn't attempt this quest as I had reached the Necropolis when I decided to go back and do it.

I also started again and died again because I was rushing to get back to where I was in the game. Even though I managed to get close to where I was spec and level wise on my second attempt, I made the same mistake in getting lulled in to a false sense of security. I thought I could tank where I should've kited and ended up dying to Cronley while on a bounty quest in his hideout. The boss that always gives me the least amount of trouble I die to! FML. :(

R.I.P.

maybe now you'll take it slow and steady and not be in such a rush :p

I'll be playing tonight :) I was also alone on discord yesterday

Really? What time? I'm on from after 21:00

Maybe you guys should be on the same Discord server then.... :D

Don't go muddying any waters now.

My shyness is infectious.

Sorry guys but Discord just isn't really my thing. It honestly makes me feel uncomfortable.

Awe, but Borderlands 2 worked so well. Didn't it? ...

Hahahahahaha. Well people tend to leave shortly after I join Discord...doesn't stop us from chatting it up there! :D

So I assume you were/are playing heroic?

Hardcore, yes. What irks me about dying the second time, aside from the asininity of it, was how close I was to completing a Haunt relic. It's a really expensive transcendent relic and I was a mere two haunted steel fragments away from crafting it. :(

There are so many relic recipes I don't have yet, and it prevents me from crafting transcendent relics, even though they only have a level requirement of 35.

I haven't googled for it or anything, so don't know if there is a good place to go and farm recipes. I really want to make a transcendent relic but the "normal" relic recipes elude me. I also have to probably look at all the faction shops to see if I can buy it from there. Blegh, hate rep farming.

I know how you feel. Except the recipe that is alluding me is the one needed to craft Maiven's Lens. Seriously, if anyone has found this recipe please let me trade you for it.

As for transcendent relics, even though some of them, not all of them, can be used at level 35 I think they are only really attainable once you get closer to level 50. At level 35 they are seriously overpowered. For example Haunt gives +1 to all Arcanist skills and at level 35 that is insane! With my first Battlemage because I already had a Haunt relic and other OP gear I was able to easily clear out all the levels of SoT once I hit level 35! Sadly on my second Battlemage I was still trying to gather everything I needed for another Haunt when I was level 45.

Otherwise what do you need crafted? I'm pretty sure I've unlocked all the empowered relic recipes, so if you have the mats I can craft whatever you need. ;)

It also helps to gain favour with the various factions because that is where you get additional recipes, especially ones needed to craft rarer components.

I don't have any special ring or amulet recipes, so I'm of no help :/

The relic I need, but don't have, is Squall. I need it to be able to craft a Transcendent relic, Desolation.
