I've heard of him....he can 1shot you if you run up to him as he casts his "shotgun" type attack. Whats apparently also frustrating is he doesn't look all that different from the other mexican cowboys running around.

That's why we're taking Blood Grove slow :/
 
We have used an internet search engine's 'image finder' functionality to find an image on the internet that would accurately reflect the sense of accomplishment you might experience when finishing this game. We found it:

Haha I hope that image gets used for the badge. :D

However it took several months for the other badges to be awarded so it may take a while. This Grim Dawn MyGame is lasting until the end of November so it will only be after that.
 
No. No it must happen now. Our half-uncle Guido Pontanio was very accommodating posing for this superb advertisement for success, but won't be wanting to keep his bloomers up till end November. We should show him the proper respect; I mean he is the source of all our lotions. Badges now. Freedom and peace.
 
Okay I finished all my exams, placed Silver in Overwatch, started Skyrim again yet, I have found time for Grimdawn. Probably missed a lot of the discussion but I will try and keep my progress report up to date.
 
Completed the warder quest!

He got the last laugh in, or I was just not aware of the massive damage he had done.

Fixed the bridge and off to the next area!
 
Found Cronley after stumbling around for a bit. He ded.


Attemps are being made to stay pure night blade, I shall see when I reach level 30, If I keep it that way.
Scorpion sting is really helping as an additional AoE attack, best part is! The more you use it the stronger it gets, as it levels up!
 
Just hit level 30 as I head into smugglers pass.

Not feeling too powerful yet but my investments into devotion should start paying off soon. I hope.
 
Just shy of level 29, made my way to Homestead. I am not off to kill something, which I can not pronounce. I do know that it is evil therefore, it must die.

*EDIT*
Made it to level 32, killed Karroz, Sigil of Ch'thon. I was seriously under levelled for that fight but made it through. I believe I am now on ACT IV which is the final act of the game. Still a ways to go.

I managed to play a very little bit this weekend, got to 54, at the inner gates of the necropolis, also finished the side quest - the hidden path as well as the shrine in darkvale.
 
Right. So last night we sat down for a 6+ hour gaming session.

We completed:
Hidden Path quest
Steps of Torment (realised in this run they only go up to about level 53 so no point anymore)
Mad Queen Rashalga
Bastion of Chaos
Fort Ikon
Main Game!

I'm slightly disappointed theres no achievement for completing the game in HC mode. There are achievements for SoT, BoC, lvl 85 and then completing it in Ultimate...those are the only HC related achievements I could see. Oh well. Now to take my SUPER tank (Bastions of chaos and the mad queen and the final vagina-face boss were a breeze) to Elite :D

Level 35, still a pure Night Blade! Joined the Order of Death's Vigil currently gaining some XP, doing some of their quests. Otherwise I will get stomped at the final few bosses.

Off to the Gates of Necropolis, this might take a while.

I nope'd out of there, it's a maze with thousands of deadly enemies. I will try again at level 37+.

Heh, we made sure to always be over levelled. I finished at I think lvl 58 (hit gates at about 56), childs play then, even with them scaling up to you

I'm curious to know if you also beat one or all of the following:

Loxmere Nightmare (Random spawn on Planes of Strife)
The Sentinel (Hidden Path boss)
Avatar of Mogdrogen (Says he's a God, Asterkarn Valley)
Any Nemesis monster

If not, be super careful when you meet their Elite and Ultimate versions. They all have 'Harcore Killer' on page one of their résumés.

Loxmere Nightmare (Random spawn on Planes of Strife)
is that where you go into a randomly spawned cthonic rift and have to fight your way out? if so, yea we did that (he's called Nightmage, not nightmare)

Well yea we did that (said we did hidden path quest), seeing as we did the Ultra Rare optional Rashalga Queen (apparently way more difficult, not for my acid retaliation tank :D)

Yeah thats the shrine quest. Didn't attack him seeing as he's not an outright enemy. And the small amount of alt-tabbed reading we did on him revealed he basically hits you once and you cant attack him...so no point to that fight except kill you

Sadly not yet, but stay tuned. we gonna farm BoC and vagina-boss a few more times (I really need a better tank relic than Sanctuary, but i'm just not getting drops :() and then we gonna hit Elite. Its round about there that we'll get the desired rep, at a certain level below you they just stop giving that rep...and we're at 60 now. I'm hoping to be FINISHED with this game by the end of the month (properly, just like psychonauts ;))
 
Did some bounties last night until late, as well as trotted through some of the later areas to gain some XP. Went from around 37 to 43. Will probably start working my way through Gates of Necropolis now. I think I am able to take on the hordes of nightmares that stand before me.
