Wait until you can start crafting your own weapons if you wanna see OP weapons.

IIRC you can find Chakrams on the first quest for the House of Ballads.

I found other chakrams in a random drop, and they are awesome AF (despite being less effective than my staff). Found my first Fate Stone, and fully upgraded Gossamer End, my new home for the next month.
 
And so the story of Nysha begins, using keyboard and mouse, primary weapon chakrams, secondary fye blades, going for a finesse and sorcerer hybrid, trying something new. So far, apart from the "tutorial" area, no progress towards the main quest has been made, will either do it when I don't have any side quests in my quest log, or the last week of mygame just to finish it :p

Been messing around with this game trying to build some demon hunter/neo from matrix hybrid. so far, its going okay.

Damn forgot how the questing works in KoA, just finished like 30 quests, only to enter the next area and be bombarded by like 20+ more. By the time I get to the main quest my whole map will be revealed XD
 
I hope it's not against the rules, but I have started over a 3rd time.
I want to be comfortable with my character created.

I havent found the house in webwood yet, but did the first part of the main story tonight, I have to stop myself cos I keep going off on a tangent and doing side quests.
 
Regarding the house...

I didn't want to spoil anything, BUT, you need to do a certain quest for the folk of the town. Once completed, you should have access to it.
 
I started this weekend and I had forgotten how in-depth the lore of this game is. I am really excited to play through it again.

I wanted to try playing as a warrior-type this time round, but I keep gravitating to the mage/rogue builds, they are just so much fun.
 
Didn't get a chance to start yet. Too many friends back and on leave... But my leave starts next week, so... :D
 
We had some friends visit over the weekend, so I didn't play too much. Still around the Gorhart area but I think I'm finished with all the side quests in the immediate area. Think I'm level 4 or 5. I'm already further with the game than I was previously.

I also haven't started yet. Have been too busy playing Dark Souls 2 so I still have to finish Metro Last Light Redux and then start KoA. Hopefully later in the week?
