A blast from the past! The Strategy genre saw a bit of a resurgence this year, with enough games being released to warrant it's own category.

Halo Wars 2
Mario + Rabbits Kingdom Battle
StarCraft: Remastered
Total War: Warhammer II
Warhammer 40000: Dawn of War III
XCOM 2: War of The Chosen

Sadly, none of the strategy titles this year have incited much hype from my side. Being curious of the awesome Switch games being released, I would have to go for Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. I don't much like the Total War or Warhammer games and couldn't get into XCom. Halo Wars doesn't look much fun and the only remasters that can ever win a GOTY title is Age of Empires.
