Mygaming.co.za domain name blocked at work as it has the word "game" in it

Hey mods.
Just a request ,
i dont know if anyone else has this problem but due to the your domain,
"mygaming.co.za" having the word "game" in the domain name , its blocked by my work proxy.
I dont know if anyone else has this problem ?
Any chance you guys could park a diffrent domain name so we could still access it ?
like "myg.co.za" ?

Obviously if im the only one having this problem it would be stupid of me to expect this,
just putting it out there that if more of your readers might be in the same boat , it might be worth a look ?

www.hidemyass.com > advanced settings > URL obfuscation: encrypted

Feel free to Google for other anonymous proxies if "ass" is problematic as well :p
 
If I use hide my ass they are going to firemyass.com
Besides , I believe all proxy service sites is a direct violation of the corporate internet usage rules.
Im looking for something that wont get me into deep doo doo.
 
Hm, assuming MyGaming owns the server it's on, someone could set the site to be the default website on the server. Going to http://41.203.21.137/ gives you the following message

It works!

which would seem to be a little test page on the default website
 
problem is merely going to hidemyass.com will get me into trouble.
I was even contemplating a vps solution but cant find any , I cant open any ports from work ,
only have our work proxy to go through.

Our network administrator is anal retentive.
He would march me into my manager's office with HR to have them give me a warning and explain to me how bad it is of me to use a website to circumvent his proxy filters (thats to say if hidemyass isnt already blocked)
I need something I cant get into shit for.

falls in the filter with gambling.
Game , Gaming , Gambling , Poker , Blackjack , ect.
all part of the same filter.

On one of our work proxies even gmail is blocked.
So I appreciate you all taking the mickey out of me but I still have a problem accessing my favorite website while in the office :(

I use my Android app to access MyGaming. It's not because of the name but due to content. I am blocked from tons sites due to so-called dodgy content. Last week the block included Google Translate.

/sigh :(

Just kidding :D

But just google Web Proxies and you should find some decent ones there, unfortunately my knowledge is pretty limited with all that as I tried searching the whole proxy stuff, but ja most are inactive, require a username or password and ja there are very few which are useful but require a constant Intl connection.
