It is always so difficult to answer questions like these. Luckily the gaming universe is so diverse, there's something for everyone and every taste.
 
so difficult. so many are the best in their own style... it's like how do you compare a great beer and a great whisky... I'll one of each please
 
Glad to see all the support for Dishonored. Really enjoyed the game a lot. But at the end I have to go with Halo 4 for my GotY. I'm a big fan of the series and absolutely loved this installment!!! And the multiplayer is pure bliss.
 
glad to see that x-com:enemy unknown got quite a bit of the votes, the nostalgia is just too much for my back in time brain! #xcomtankftw :)

Borderlands 2 is my pick of the year. I enjoyed the first one, but started losing interest after finishing the first playthrough. With BL2, I just can't get enough. They definitely did something right.

Like, I'm still trying to figure out if he's serious:wtf:. Don't get me wrong, I love FIFA 13, and it's the best FIFA yet, but GOTY? No ways!!! Light years behind that race IMO.

Even in that category, it'll only win because of the number of people playing it as opposed to the other games in that category like NBA 2k13 which probably deserves the title more than FIFA... but that's just my opinion.

Yeah, I myself haven't seen one in store.... And I don't really see them in the steam store etc. So they are pretty scarce.

Exactly, that category's pretty much a popularity contest rather than a reflection of the best quality (not to say FIFA 13 isn't great, because it is)
 
From the list Diablo III was the only one I played. Did nit even finish one campain... Need to go kill that last monster now.. Bye
