i dont see a problem with how the competitions are currently run. if the criteria is met they should win, whether they are a noob or a regular.

i also dont think the time period for claiming the prize should be altered. If you enter a comeptition, the onus is on you to check back regularly to see if youve won especially since the comp thread tells you when the competition is ending. its your own fault if your entering to many competitions to keep track off when what comp is ending.

If ticked/selected, one should receive notifications via e-mail as to when results are made, or being public. Shouldn't this be enough to remind users "Check online" to view comp thread, and see results.

Admittedly when I missed the post of my winning, i was pretty busy with work, so I only browsed 'actual' threads rather than just the comp thread (usually if I don't have time I read only the active threads).

I am new so don't have friends yet but it also doesn't really seem that the regulars want new people (Not saying that the should be allowed to win comps always)

Nope we love new people makes for a more intresting forum what we hate and have seen for so many years now is someone spams their way to 20 post and then they just disapear.
