So if you really want to play the game (i.e. it's on your steam wishlist) and you don't have me on steam, add me so your name can get added to the list. I will (most likely) get paid tonight or otherwise only on Friday night and only then will I know if I will be able to buy it as a (Christmas) gift for someone.

I had it in my wish list since December 2013.... but I must admit I aint going near that game before actual release. Like I said somewhere else I rarely revisit games and as such don't touch games that is not finish yet.

Yeah, I saw that you've had it on there for a while. You and about 4 other people so far are on the list that I will use to pick a winner. I will obviously look at when it was added and if somebody just added it on their wishlist today, they will unfortunately not be eligible. I know this might seem like a strange way of going about doing a GA, but I got a gift copy of the game from someone who backed them on Kickstarter a long time ago and I just enjoy the game so much (in fact, I will go so far as to say it is the best ARPG I have ever played, even in its early access state) that I also want to give some money to the developer. Since I already have the game I can't just buy it again, so I thought I'd buy it and give it away to someone else who also wants it.

Really hoping I can do it and all of this is not for nothing, but I am about 90% sure that I will buy it, just waiting to see how everything works out so I can see if I can fit it into my budget.

Feel free to add me on steam so your name can go on the list. I don't care when you actually play it, I just want it to go to someone who really wants the game.

what a tragedy :-( if u check my posts,you will see that i was really keen on Grim Dawn...and eventually buckled and bought it. if only you had posted this sooner, i might have been in with a shot :)

That's a great giveaway Wlad. I will skip though. I want the game but not that much and it will just land it my backlog. So it would be better if it goes to someone else.
 
I just got paid so I will most likely buy the game when I get home tonight and then pick a winner first thing tomorrow morning.
 
My gifts are bought, but think I'll wait till the new year to drop them when the forum is alive again :p
 
Forgot I have the steam app on my phone. Game is purchased and in my inventory. If I don't get home too late tonight I will still pick a winner and send the game tonight. Otherwise it will be tomorrow morning when I wake up. Good luck to everyone!

And thats for me too...Any game I enter is a game that genuinely gets my interest, even if I take long to get around to it. Thought 95% of people here were like that.
 
I suppose I could have worded it better. I didn't mean to offend anybody or anything (hence the :p), I just meant I want the game to go to someone who has a genuine interest in it and will definitely play the game. For example: I entered a Terrarria GA on here some time ago. I never played Minecraft and the only info I had about Terrarria was that it was "basically Minecraft in 2D". I thought what the hell and entered and then won the game. I played it for like 7 minutes and never touched it again, and I never will (I have since then only entered a GA if I really want the game). I just don't want the game to sit there in someone's library never being played, the whole point is to give some of my money to Crate Entertainment and spread the awesomeness of the game to someone who really wants it but hasn't bought it yet.

About to do the random.org thing... Will update my post with the winner as soon as I have sent the game via Steam.


EDIT: And the winner is......... Wyvern. Congrats, game has bent sent via steam.
