MyGaming Steam Community Giveaways

i would create a few more but they are all from the Origin bundle, and they have been given away on the forums like nobody wants them... rather save them for someone who really REALLY wants them ;)
 
My latest batch of winners:

Alan Wake Collector's Edition = SaintDee

Castle Crashers = NebulaProphet

Since entries are drying up, I reckon I'll open up the other games I have to give away to the larger MyGaming Steam group.

I just remembered why this is a bad idea, so I won't do it. However, can we get some new worthy recruits into the MyGaming Community Steam group, or have we got everyone deemed worthy?

I think we may need to define what makes a "new worthy recruit"?
 
That should be up to the group mods - Eugene and Wyvren. It's difficult because there are those who invest personally in the prizes, and may not wish to give it to unknown members. If it's full of all the core forum people already, then I suppose we just need to encourage more people to become active and core to the community. Just wondering if there are some not included already who might like to be.

Just kinda sucks to see the entry numbers going down each week while I stll have so many to give away.

I guess we need to find some form of middle ground... I had a quick gander at the Rules and Guidelines, some of those requirements may be a little too stringent, at least that's what I reckon :?

Most people were gifting during the steam sale while the games were cheap.

I come back to this group and I enter every draw for games that I want and don't have. I'm sure it's the case with most of us here that we won't enter for a game that we don't want, and we can't enter for games that we have.

I say, keep em coming. I know it's a bit disheartening when no one enters a comp (I had only 5 entries for Deus Ex, which deserved everyone's entry), but I think that it will pick up again with another big sale. Look at what happened during the Origin bundle :)

Same here, I didn't enter Deus Ex because it doesn't interest me and would be better off with someone else.

I think that the biggest reason numbers are going down is that the things being given away are already owned by most people :) I have most of the things you are giving away, but rest assured that I will enter on the ones that I don't have :D

Even though they decrees, someone's always still getting something (each weak)... That should be a good enough reason for a giveaway...?
