MyGaming Steam Community Giveaways

For those wondering how Steamgifts' levels work (when you will obtain them based on games given away), here is some useful information. I have been wondering how it is calculated and I finally found what I was looking for.

This list shows how much you have to contribute to achieve each level:

http://www.steamgifts.com/discussion/XaCbA/list-of-all-cv-levels-and-their-corresponding-real-cv

However, there is a catch. Games from bundles are only worth 15% of their Steam price when giving it away. ie, if you give away Machinarium and it is worth $10 on Steam, you only get $1.5 added to your Contributer Value. Also, if you have given away more than 5 copies of a game, that games' value will depreciate with each subsequent giveaway.
Your Steamgifts profile will show you the total amount you have given away next to Gifts Sent, but you cannot use this value to determine your Steamgifts level.

To see the true amount that contributes to your Steam Level, use this calculator.

Hope that helps some people that might have been wondering :)

Theres also the fact that if you give away games wiht less than 5 entries it also effects (or totally ignores) its value added to level

Dead Space 2 is a 2011 science fiction survival horror video game developed by Visceral Games and published by Electronic Arts for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.[6] Set three years after the events of the first Dead Space, the game follows protagonist Isaac Clarke's fight against a new Necromorph outbreak on the Sprawl, a space station above Saturn's largest moon, Titan. Unlike its predecessor, Dead Space 2 has a multiplayer mode, pitting human characters against Necromorphs across the Sprawl.

Dead Space 2 is yours :p

Thanx Dochie will mark as received during the day :D

AlienTaker wont be able to play Dead Space 2.You cant hide in the hills or roof tops and take easy shots.... "whistling: :D

That game is awesome...well, I'm halfway through, the sheer tension and feeling of dread is amazing. This is a game that you need to play in the dark with headphones or good quality speakers.
Its freaking brutal too, not something you want to let a child see. I feel bad, was playing one night, thought my son was in bed already, when I turned around, he was standing there gawking at it. Had my headphones on, so I didnt hear him. He is 4, made me realize again how important age restrictions are.
