MyGaming Steam Community Giveaways

the perfect example of what to gift just came up: Kingdoms of Amalur for the weekend sale, only $5.99, but a value of $19.99. cannot log in to SteamGifts to check if it is starred or not, but i doubt it. :)

Unless it was in a bundle then no, its 70% off, they only give it a * if its in a bundle or if its more than 95% off :)

ok wait, i want to try and buy and gift a game, but want to make sure i don't mess it up. if i buy this game, i choose to purchase as a gift. then i need to sit and wait till the sale is over right? so that the game value contributed goes back to 20 USD ?

I present Kingdoms of Amalur. :D

Sooo tempting to enter this, esp seeing that I can not decide between this and Weekly Humble, and can not afford both.

But, I recon I will give someone else a better chance to win KoA and buy it instead. Can skip the Dirt's more than I can skip KoA. I am such a nut for RPG's

Anyone interested in Alpha Prime and Fish Fillets 2? Will retry later since my giveaway crashed twice already.

I really feel like trolling, entering the giveaway and then when the keys are released redeeming MY master edition and regifting yours!

FREE CV FTW!!!

heheh

Guys, I'm a bit daft, the winner for my giveaway was selected, I clicked on Send Gift and its now on Sent. But how does he get the key?

By you mailing it to him in person.

My preferred way is to add the game to my inventory when I buy it (via the purchase as a gift option). It then stays right there until the giveaway is finished. In the inventory I choose "send gift" and then I take the email address Steamgifts provides and let Steam send the email (there is a "send email" option).
If the game is purchased from another source and I have the key, I'll mail or PM it directly to the winner.
