Any one the new guys to steam (That didn't join like 8 years ago :rolleyes: :p ), how did you guys manage to register for an account? on the website or through the downloaded Steam app?

Is it possible to register through the Steam Mobile App?

For the past day its been absolutely difficult to get past the Captcha system on the registration page.

I can't believe there's people out there that don't have a steam account:eek: and I usually just open a new tab on my cell phone to open email and get the captcha code?

I've had my Steam account for over a year, but only used it for the last 7 months or so. So I understand your predicament. I did it through the websites, created my account, and then downloaded the app.

Also, what browser are you using? Do you have any add-ons running maybe?

Latest chrome. No add-ons except ABP & Ghostery. Only 2 extensions I use. Although, I did not think of using another browser. Will give it a go. Just don't get it though, it keeps telling me that the Capthca I entered is incorrect. Every single time.

Like I mentioned to Eugene (not sure if he saw the post in TK) but I moved away from PC gaming a WHILE ago since I could afford the hardware requirements for the games being released. That and after my precious Graphics Card gave in (XFX 9800 GTX), I gave up.

But I would like to get into PC gaming because I miss the classics, and there's a lot I missed out on.
 
Haha I'd enter these competitions but it feels like I own every steam game thanks to the wonderful Humble bundles :) awesome competitions though guys, I'll do one if I get any spare steam keys
