What he's trying to say (and it's nice of him to come forth) is that he already owns the base game Sniper: Ghost Warrior.
If he entered, he would only end up getting the DLC that comes WITH it (steam will eat up the base game from gold edition, so it will disappear). Some people have a problem with this kind of thing, some people don't. Its up to the creator to say : Please dont join if you have base game, or: all can enter.
