MyGaming Steam Community

Speaking of which... what's to stop people joining our community and then taking part in the giveaways?
Would kinda ruin it for the active participating members.

Actually I'm just looking to join the group to jam some games with the guys from the forum. I'll only participate in the giveaways when I've been in the forum for a year so yeah. Just thought I clear things up.

The mygaming steam community and the mygaming giveaway community are 2 different groups on steam. The steam community to my knowledge is pretty much open to join, while the giveaway one is invite only with prerequisites

Mygaming open community here
Mygaming closed/giveaway community here

When I say open community, while it does require an invite, I think invite can be done by anyone, whereas the 2nd one is strictly controlled.

Don't get me wrong, not trying to hate on you, just used it as an example.

Sorry, stopped using PayPal for Steam purchases some time ago. I decided I trust Steam a lot more with my credit card info than I trust PayPal with it. Credit Card purchases via Steam still work fine, I can vouch for that :)

Maybe just put your CC info on Steam? Just make sure to enable all the safety features of Steam (two step verification, etc). Also make sure your email password is different from your Steam password, in the event that either of the two get hacked.

that's what I ended up doing, bought the dark souls 2 season pass, ya I have a a type of algorithm based password which changes according to ever site i visit so its never the same for any service that i trust.:D

also I if has two step: gmail ,steam, humble bundle ,outlook, facebook then im registered.

Its just weird is all since i have not used steam for 4 months and the last I checked it was fine but that was before the new tax system, was wondering if that is part of why?
