MyGaming suggestion box

Are you talking about the news site or the forum? There should be a "full site" link at the bottom of the mobile page. On the forum, I can change your setting in the admin panel if you are still stuck. On the news site, if you can't find the button to revert back to the full site view, you will have to remove the mobile redirect from your URL, and possibly clear your cookies if the mobile view keeps coming back. It's a very frustrating bug...
 
The forum.

I experimented the other day; changing it from MyGaming Default to Mobile, to see what the difference would be. Only then did I realise, that when in Mobile view - there wasn't an option to revert it back to MyGaming or Menu Modified.

I had to then log out, change the view back to MyG Default, and then log in again, before it was reverted back to normal.

Clicking on "full site" lead me to a dead link where I had a choice of clicking on a link to the forum or news section.
 
Next time, if there is a next time, try scrolling back a page to a view where you had the default page. It does the same thing in MyBB, iirc.
 
Computer Hardware Section - Could we possibly add Supplier Ratings as a Sticky for future reference of suppliers to use?

Is there any way to get a thing where we can actually rate it out of 1 - 10 per company, like a poll that then shows ratings rather than trying to scroll through pages and pages of what people experienced

Not possible for a single thread. A new thread with a poll for each supplier will have to be created.

Soz man probably was not clear enough, Could we create a Supplier Rating thread of possibly even sub forum under Hardware, if its just a single thread it might get a bit too cluttered and difficult to search, if it where to be a sub forum we could open threads for suppliers etc? If it sounds like a lot of work, im happy to create, just let me know.

Sure no problem, got the baby scan and work stuff to do this arvie. I will think about how to approach and implement it when i get home.
 
so more or less the way I thought, thinking maybe each company thread having a 10 choice poll? 1 being crap and 10 being excellent?
 
Hi everyone, I've decided that "top active members competition" prizes will be considered by category, and previous winners will be excluded from future competitions based on this.

I haven't settled on a time frame yet, but I'm thinking a 3 - 6 month sit out, depending on the category.

For example, if you have won a console or gadget such as a tablet PC in the past then you aren't eligible for another console for 6 months.

If you have won a peripheral such as a keyboard or Razer Hydra, you will sit out for 3 months.

Feedback welcome.

I think those time frames may be a little bit too long, but I like the idea.

I think the time frames are fine, this will give everyone a chance to win. it's not like a console is given away every week or month. so its a good plan.
 
Nope I dont think so, for game giveaways I still say you have to sit out 2 rounds before being eligible for the next round
