MyGaming suggestion box

I still wanna get emails from administrators but not for quotes? It just says emails from admin, other memebers and friendship requests.

Also getting quoted in notification area?

Never used to do this before

I only get notifications to Tapatalk, so I'm fine with that.

Edit: Also - if you're the winner of a comp, you'll get an [AT] next to your name, thus notifying you if you've won, like yesterday with with Batman. Was notified to Tapatalk while I was playing a game (and did not want to Alt+Tab out of the game), so I used Tapatalk. Had to open Alt+Tab Steam however.

Bottom line: I find it very convenient. I do check online many a time to see if someone has commented on a post, now I don't have to do that since I am mostly informed about it.

Do you also get emails for mentions and quotes? Would love to turn the quote email off only.

You can do that. The system lets you independently control notifications for quotes, mentions, user tags, and hashtags.

For example, I've turned off only quote notifications that would have been sent to my notification tray / PM box.

Pretty sure I turned off quotes but seems I still get them
 
I'm pretty sure mentions work just by putting an @ in front of a name?
[MENTION=18030]phalen[/MENTION]

Edit: Yep. Just put an @ in front of the name of the user you want to tag and the forums software takes care of the rest.
