MyGaming suggestion box

The mygaming survey popup keeps crashing on my chrome - I have cleared the cache and all the other obvious thing. It is the shockwave crashed message that I get.

Sorry to hear about your problem. Unfortunately we cannot reproduce the problem our side, and we use many browsers, including Chrome.

I assume everything is up to date your side, including Flash?

You can always try filling in the survey so that the pop-up disappears :)
 
Hehehehe I always fill it in - weirdly enough I only get it at work, I never get the pop up at home. When it does pop up at home I fill it in.

All my stuff is up to date. But its a weird issue that I have every once in a while :P

Mine does a similar thing in FF but it sits in the corner as an invisible box, I don't think it's an MyG problem I think it's that (something)measure the people who created the app.

Filling it in more than once would create a netdynamics situation.
 
don't know if this is possible or if it has been mentioned before, but could you have an email notification option of "Reply With Quote" on your own posts... if that makes sense :rolleyes:

If it's not a standard part of the forum software James won't use it. Non standard things have a habit of breaking the software.
 
Hi, sorry for the slow reply. I saw the original query but got distracted. It's not a feature of the forum, but it would be nice - if it was an opt-in feature.

You can subscribe to notifications of posts in threads your are interested in though.

I have noticed that there is an invisible Flash object that seems to be for the survey popup, that covers the post button if the browser window is about the width of the content area.

It's this:

That thing is very annoying. Not much we can do about it though :( Flashblock the bugger if it gets in the way.
 
James I can't unsubscribe from threads from the thread, the only option I get is to subscribe to them. Tried with FF and Chrome.

Works from the User CP though
 
This might be a bit of an odd request, and I'm not sure if this is even the right place to ask, but is it possible that MyGaming can look into why the Wii-U is priced so much higher here than in other countries?

In America the 32GB Deluxe version is going for $350 which with an exchange rate of, say R9/$ (which is a lot higher than it really is at the moment) it would work out to about R3200. Yet here in South Africa the exact same thing costs R4600. Where is this price hike coming from?
