MyGaming suggestion box

I wanna suggest that TM maybe you could host and ARG Gaming comp where us the community have to actually work for our prizes if you know what i mean... eg: here is a site on how ARG works etc... Alternate Gaming Reality Quickstart guide I think this would be an awesome opportunity :D

TinTin, can we please get a for sale section this spam of selling things is getting outta control, (or delete them w/e)
 
oh and a Zaps section where only Moody can create new threads but people can reply ;)

This and above would clean up forum nicely :)
 
I agree with you on that one boozer :) would be nice to have a completely different section for sales however we would have to have some form of a sticky thread for individual sales if u kno what i mean :)
 
well its actually pretty simple just have different sub sections (if thats possible)

For Sale (No creating posts in here but u create in sub sections)
. |_PC
. |_Xbox
. |_Ps3
. |_Other
. |_Zaps Specials (Where only moody can post)

And what you do is give the person Lock privliages for there post in the for sale thread. Only person who created the thread may post in that thread. All deals are dealt via PM (that way our user base will also grow) :) "People with only 20 posts or more may post in this section" otherwise TinTin's magical program deletes them hehehe

what about putting a limitation as to how much you can advertise per day i mean it shouldnt be that hard to keep posting limitations in place... something similar to the 30second post except in the sale area its like 3posts a day.... :)
 
I think this is a good idea, if done this section would then be needed to be strictly moderated with Banhammers being used should user repeatedly break the rules. I also think that there should be 1 thread like the Bargain thread in General Gaming, where everybody can post but the other threads should limit it to only the suppliers and they would need to contact Tinman &/or Rusty giving proof that they are legit. Also if a member wishes to sell something they contact Tinman or Rusty giving the details and is then given a 12 hour window in which to create a thread in said section. (As a side part i would say MyGaming should receive 5% of the profit made) Also once the item is sold the user should then again contact the mods and ask them to close the thread with a final post saying SOLD or something.
 
I just hope we don't become a breeding ground for spammers and people just joining to advertise (or do what they need to be able to advertise), then leaving.

Sounds like a good idea, but who decides what that 5% is being used for? Who is gonna control all the finances?
Seems like a huge headache to me, but i def support the idea.
Get own e-shop going mebe :P
