Hey guys and girls.

So we have an awesome competition to announce...

In just under two weeks from now, one lucky forum user will win one of the following:

Xbox 360 250 GB console bundle
PS3 320 GB console bundle
Nvidia Gainward GTX 570 Phantom Edition graphics card
iPad 2

The winner will be able to choose one of the afformentioned prizes.

In order to enter, simply post in this forum stating which prize you would like to win, and why.

You will then need to make at least 20 posts before this Sunday (29 May) to enter.

You will then be able to enter again next week but only if you make another 20 posts.

We want to make it clear that new members are welcome to enter. All you need to do is make an account, enter, and get posting :)

So to recap:

Post here explaining which prize you would choose, and why. Make 20 posts before the end of the week for your entry to be validated.

Enter again next week, but make sure that you make another 20 posts by Friday 3 June.

Entering twice effectively doubles your chances of winning.

One lucky winner will be chosen next week Friday, 3 June at 11AM.

Be sure to check back then to see if you have won.

Winners will have 3 days to claim their prize before it is given to another entrant.

Do not spam your way to 20 posts per week. This competition is intended to award active members of the community, and encourage new users to engage in a meaningful way. SPAMMING WILL NOT BE TOLERATED.

Just to clarify. You can enter twice. Once this week, and once next week. However, you will have to have made 20 posts each week for your entry to be counted.

First off, awesome comp! :D

Right, I would like to enter for the Xbox 360 please :)

Reason: I have been a PC gamer for the most part and would love to give console a try. Having been a student and now only doing part time work, I can't afford a console.

I had my first experience on a XBox at Omega's house; played some Halo (I think?) co-op against Sycogrim. This was my first EVER time playing on an XBox, so it took some getting used to. But I am proud to say that I actually beat Syco in one match! Woot for me! :D

I would really like an Xbox so I can also cash in on the awesomeness that is console gaming!

I would like to enter for the iPad2 please.

Ive been debating with myself on whether I should get a tablet or just a kindle. In the end the usefulness of the iPad won. But saving for one will take me at least another year. And I really want to be able to read my ebooks on a decent sized screen! My mobile screen is just to small for it to be really comfortable! Considering the fact that I keep buying ebooks it would be a great place to store them and to be able to do my forum browsing on the tablet!

IPad2 - It's an IPad2, do your really need more reason than that? Since I already have a Xbox as well as a PS3 and PC gaming is't my thing Ipad2 is the logical choice.

Why? Because I already own a decent PC rig and a PS3. I want a Xbox because of the exclusive titles available on it that I can't play on either of my other platforms. Games like Alan Wake really appeal to me and I would love to get my grubby mitts on it. Also, my feeling of self worth(E-peen) will be greatly increased. It will also keep my wife a lot happier, as I won't be bugging her to get me one for Xmas!

Well for me no doubt the ipad2

i ahve owned the 5th gen ipod and now the ipod touch, apple products are top notch qaulity, the ipad is like my tiny ipod touch on steriods so i would looove one of those!

|The question i have for Tinman is do the iGame posts count? and do the posts start for the time you entered or the day on which u entered

ie i have already made posts prior to this today, will it count?
 
IPad 2 - Been contemplating buying this for some time now. I need a decent ebook reader that can do a bit more (or in this case a lot). Will work excellent with my ever growing digital comics collection :)

For a Few reasons: The consoles plugged into the SD TV in the lounge would be a waste since its SD and I couldn't play any good games on them thanks to family :/
I don't think the iPad 2 has been jailbroken yet :p
my currant Graphics Card is bottle necking my system
and finally, it might turn around my distrust of Nvidia

I want or should I say need the Nvidia GTX 570 Phantom Edition graphics card.I have a 8600gts something or other and reali need an ungrade. Getting this graphics card will help me save to upgrade other parts of my PC like ram etc... I would reali like to win, so I can play all those cooll games at there best{witcher2:(,Dirt2 and crysis 1 and 2}:o:o:o
 
ipad 2! as much as i would love an xbox, i already have my ps3 and would love a tablet to take around :) plus its an ipad! apple is quality
 
I would love the iPad 2! since the launch of the first iPad I was trying to convince my wife that I "REALLY REALLY NEED IT" but alas, she always some excuse that I dont really... you have a PC, you have a notebook, you can use your cellphone.... you biught a Wii that you never use etc etc etc

:) Point being that If I manage to win one! then she cant say no!!! so that is my reason I need one to save my marraige! :)
 
I hereby enter for the PS3 because I totally don't have one, which I think is an awesome reason. I need to play Unchartered2 before the world ends, which I believe has been rescheduled to October sometime. Also, I need to 'get with the times' as the young kids say these days, and get a bluray player.

PS3 please

my current ps3 is a oldish 80gb which would make a great gift for 6 year old nephew, then we can play multi player together, plus it would be a expenditure less i'll have to make later on.
 
Awesome comp!

I would like to enter for the GTX570. Up untill Saturday I still had a measly Geforce 8500GT, but I got a GT430 from a friend so I can play The Witcher 2 at an acceptable frame rate. If I had a GTX570 I would be able to enjoy my new favourite game of all time in all it's glory without selling my kidney for a decent gfx card. :p
 
Great comp!

I would like to enter for the iPad. Reason being I already have an XBOX and PS3, and my PC is a laptop, so can't use the GPU.

Besides, iPad's are packed full of awesomeness. I'm also in the market for an eBook reader, and am considering a Kindle, but an iPad offers so much more than just a reader.
