The story behind this in the west is crazy. The studio and VA's got all the scripts from Japan(where the show tanked btw) however none of them were translated the studio just made up a story to match the images and edited it quite heavily. Interestingly enough it became a huge success in the West

Thank goodness for youtube! Watched a few minutes of it. There's no way that I got all the tongue-in-cheek humour back when I was young - it's actually funny in places.

I could tell they made up the story when I watched it back in high school. I actually tried finding the original Japanese audio for these a couple years back and had no success at all. Probably for the best

Rumour has it that it's getting a movie reboot, think it was announced a month or so ago. Same with power rangers also getting a movie reboot. Hollywood has rediscovered the 90's and I'm marginally excited.

I hope they dont mess up the best Power Rangers there ever was on Movie.
And they mustnt go there hollywood extreme far fetched with it.
I remember the "puttys" and there funny noise they made. hahahah the best of times.
