Naruto VS Bleach

Hi guys

I am looking for a no rules (well some...) articles of Bleach VS Naruto for the 2nd issue of Anime-Ima!

The concept is simple.
Naruto fans write articles why naruto rocks and bleach sucks and bleach fans write articles on why bleach rocks and naruto sucks.

It's easy to have an opinion but it's different to have a valid opinion.
Substantiate your opinion.

lol, imho both animes sucks.

Bleach was awesome till that vampire arch hit and it became the same old same old repeating. same with naruto, I loved it to bits till negi was brought back. He should have died, more emotional pull/attachment that way. Then there's the fact of naru becoming useless (as I hear icho does too and have to re-find his powers) and retraining as well as the repeating of bad guy meats naru, naru downtalks, crying, end.

I do suppose this is in line with the audience they target and this is no ninja scroll-basilesk-samurai x (no not tv, just flicks); more maturely targeted. Still I suppose it's ok for on the side if you don't want to watch just deep, serious and decent animation. However that seems lacking as well these days, stil looking for something that's on par with ergo proxy/gits/elven lied etc etc.

A fact is only someone's opinion and we all know opinions can be wrong.

But seriously, you can't compare Naruto to Bleach ... it's like Smarties to Jelly Tots, both are awesome in their own way ... that being said, I'm not a big fan of Smarties and thus I'm not a big fan of Bleach only because it's kinda boring and I never actually started watching it because it was so boring.
Naruto on the other hand has become so intricate in intertwined with suspense and story and moments "What on earth is going to happen next!" ... that the anime is plain and simple too hard not to follow.
 
Both of the animes shows are pretty lame. Lots of lame fillers and unnecessary recaps. The proper way to enjoy the actual stories is just to read the manga. Only then does Bleach and Naruto rock.

I hear you. I went through the naruto phase - main arch and then moved on. there are far more superior anime available.
There are very few good "made for adults" anime that does not denigrate into hentai or gratuitous fanservice.

I was quite surprised withed High School of the dead.
Some great use of fanservice without it degrading into puerile entertainment and was quite surprised at the quality of the story and characters.
Lots of blood, gore and guts.

For adult horror, check out Higurashi.

Meh.
Fillers kind of killed both for me so I read the manga.
Watching it now is like watching a recap of stuff I read months ago.

Kinda 50/50 at the moment they not AWESOME but not L4M3 either, although they are in the top 10 Shonen Lists for Anime in
Japan.
 
Bleach fillers are way worse than naruto fillers for me
Naruto's Story right now is also alot better and more developed than bleach's. Bleach has just run out of ideas for me..
 
Well I watched Naruto after being quite into DragonBall Z but when I watched I was like ooh this is good, this is so much better. Naruto set a benchmark for anime for me. Bleach just didn't grab me when I started. It didn't feel like I really cared about the characters and what was happening.

Lol yeah, well I am not that much into Anime, there are just a few that I like and hold dear to me. Dragonball was all I really knew lol not my fault that I was uninformed :)

The good news is ( look naru is not total loss, but not AAA imho ) that you can still watch other AAA animes and be amazed over already watched them and looking for moar :D

...A least if you have not start with samurai champloo :)
 
Can't say much about Bleach (seemed pretty decent from the movie that i watched)

Naruto [Shippuuden] on the other hand is really good. Pity one has to watch through the first part of Naruto. Most of it is annoyingly childish :wtf:
