need a laptop

so my sister is looking for a laptop.

her budget is from 4-6.5k max. she is a student and will mostly use it for projects, office, itunes, videos and the occasional game like sims 2 and soon to be released sims3.

i've found a few, some of which has bad reviews - so i would like to know if anyone can assist or has some ideas.

a netbook was an option but the screen is too small, and it probably wont handle any games better than solitaire

Mate..To be quite honest..Maybe try and get her a laptop from the classifieds section on prophecy.
Place an ad for a laptop wanted and see what you get.

Get one of those Telkom laptops ! they offer it for cheap if you use telkom adsl

Go look at Makro -fujitsu siemens laptops offer the best bang for buck and you get great after sales support from them. You can get her a brand new lappie with decent specs for R5K.
