Need advice with my cellphone upgrade

I can attest to the Galaxy SII being awesome.
Haven't read any books on it, but i read a fair amount of news/sports articles and my browsing experience is superb.
Plus it's light and thin.
Perhaps getting a tablet will be the best thing for reading books if you'll be spending alot of time doing that, but if you just want a phone, then the Galaxy SII should be on top of your list.

EDIT: CellC has it for R280 per month with 100 anytime minutes and free insurance.

I find that my eyes get tired after reading for a while on my Samsung Galaxy S so I presume a tablet would have less eye strain since the screen is way bigger.

Also R280 month for Galaxy S II is quite reasonable for what you get with it

Go for the HTC Sensation. And once you've got a real "smartphone" you will never want to go back. The other phones are just so outdated!

The problem with the Samsung phones are you'll have an outdated phone in a matter of months. They roll out now phones very quickly.

Galaxy S II is by far the most versatile phone I have ever come across. Trust me, You'll never go wrong. Dual core processing FTW!.

Another Galaxy S2 user here. Really awesome phone. Altho my opinion is slightly inexperianced since it is the first Android/smartphone I've owned.

Last I checked you could get a Samsung Galaxy SII on the following contracts for the set prices. Sorry to rain on all the Iphone fan's but the SII Pawns the Iphone 4 by a million miles.
MTN 100: R319.00
MTN 200: R379.00
MTN 350: R479.00
MTN 500: R609.00

The S2 is an amazing phone but I don't think it is available on Anytime 100, only from the 200 package and up. Also note that the top up option is not available. It is going for R299 on the Anytime 200 package.

I would recommend the HTC Sensation. It kicks down Samsung. Sense UI is awesome and I know you can get other loaders and stuff off market. And lets be honest iPhone glory days are over. Android is taking over the world. Google said over 300,000 Android devices are being activated a day.

Was playing on an iphone 4s last night... they have made some good improvements.

The screen is a lot brighter but it looks weird next to my SII. Like the brightness has a fakeness to it. Prefer the SII screen.

The camera is much sharper on the 4s... much less noise than the SII. And it has an AMAZING stitching function.

I love my SII and cant wait for ICS.
