Need for Speed Most Wanted

After taking a break from gaming just after high school for a few years, i started playing NFS MW and Wow what a game. I recall playing this game and san andreas at aroound the same time.

Racing for pink slips, avoiding the cops what a thrill. However, the most memorable moment for me was at the end of the game, on the first try I outran the cops and as I recall I had to jump a bridge at the end to get to a different city/part of the city. Anyway I drove (or should i say flew) over the bridge and game was about to end and BOOM my laptop crashed!!!! Had to replay another 5 times to complete it again :(

Those were the good old days when i actaully had time to start and finish a game :P

Ah, NFS: MW. So many memories:cry: This was the game that introduced me to the BMW M3 GTR. One of my favorite cars to this day. Lets just hope that rumor about the next NFS game being Most Wanted 2 is true and that they don't mess the game

I remember this too. Put a lot of time into this one and might be one of the all time greatest Need for Speed games ever made. Thanks for bringing this up, now I need to try and find a copy.

Was my first PS2 game. Man, I loved that game to bits... Until I did something terrible to the disc

Would love to play it again! :)

What do you mean you did something terrible to the disc?
I won't explain in explicit detail, but some deep scratches were indented into the disc, causing it to get stuck at the first loading screen. Tried chemicals to fix... Needless to say... "Oops!, well now... That did it...". It was a goner before the chemical treatment/incident.

Ouch. I have been there. Sucks when you want to play something and you can't because of damaged discs.

There is just nothing like trying for the 16th time to outrun Sgt. Cross on heat level 6 and then FINALLY making that jump over the broken down bridge as everything goes slow-mo and that AWESOME soundtrack reaches its peak... goosebumps, man.
