Need for Speed movie gets real with cars and explosions

This trailer looks alot better than the previous one that was released, im still not convinced that it'll be a good movie though

considering all action scenes, after watching the trailer i feel like i've watched the whole movie already "whistling:
 
Unfortunately it looks kinda lame, especially when compared to the likes of the Fast and Furious.

Yeah agree here, much better trailer... but still don't seem up there. Atleast they chose a proper theme song... :D
 
hey! thats the guy from Breaking Bad! :P

not too excited about this. Fast and Furious needed the Rock to get some life back in the series, now they are going back to small scrawny guys for the Need for Speed movie... :P
 
Lame compared to Fast and the Furious? That's low...

I don't anticipate an Oscar winner here, might just be a few exciting chase scenes and interesting cinematography.

Some of us actually enjoyed some of the more recent F&F movies. :)
 
It really depends on how you define enjoyment. Let's just say I wouldn't pay to watch those movies. The longest runway in the world was pretty hilarious.

I am sure we all thought that when we saw the original trailer for it, pfffffft, it's NFS turned into a film.

For comparison, the longest paved runway in the world is at the Chinese Qamdo Bamda Airport and is about 3.4 miles long. The longest partially paved, partially unpaved runway is at America's Edwards Air Force Base and is 7.5 miles long. Verdict: That is one fast and furious runway.

I have hopes this will turn out to be awesome , practical effects will draw in lots of people because in this day and age we have become
numb with CGI .
And practical effects is so very welcome
 
i think one thing that does count for this movie is the legacy that the games have brought and just because of that i think it might be a hit it won't win an Oscar but i can be something to the true NFS fans out there

And if done properly it can also become a series not as successful as FnF but it can be a breath of fresh air i mean i mis the whole tuning thing from FnF that's what drew me to that movie.

But i'll guess we'll all have to wait and see till next year how this will really go
