So far this year I have not bought anything that cost more than R50. I did buy Dying Light in December which is probably the most I've spent on a game since I got Elite.
Any withdrawal symptoms yet?

The only thing I've really experienced so far in relation to remorse would be staring at my list of un-played games thinking: "I need to play this, but don't feel like it right now. Maybe I'll just play the games I enjoy... But there are still so many games here that deserve my attention, but most of them have no end-game so what is the point!" And then I shuffle back to playing Elite. Or some other time sinker.
I am with you on that. Some days when I look at my database of games I think - Yeah I am going to finally try you and you and you today. Time is all of a sudden an issue and if I want to play a game - it needs to be a quick round of something. Finally you get a day to try one of those games that avoided you for so long and you think - Do I really want to learn a new game today? - just not in the mood. How about just chilling with something I know and enjoy. It is still hard resisting a new exciting looking game. So this year - apart from For Honor- I will just play the games I have (which is more than enough). New generation games probably will mean a PC upgrade as well and can become expensive in the end.
