Need for Speed Rivals capped at 30FPS on PC?

I guess that makes sense. I still don't like it though. Especially after reading earlier how "the PC version doesn't look as nice as the PS4 version."
I'm hoping this generation doesn't do the same as the last generation, skimping on the PC version to "encourage" people to get the console version.
On the upside, as this is running Frostbite 3 it should be getting a mantle update. Maybe then the PC version will get a bit more visual fidelity.

I second your feeling but with most wanted some programmer wrote a little program that gives you a lot of tweaks for the game i actually use it and i haven't played around with it a lot but i think you can take of the fps limit with it.
so i think just a matter of time before it happens to rivals, but then again do you want a smooth game that looks very decent or a stuttering game that looks amazing but your game play goes down the drain.
But we'll have to wait and see till the 22/23rd

And PC gaming suffers once again due to consoles...ugh.
30 fps...6 fps away from slideshow...
You won't be able to remove a 30fps limit easily unless the devs provide that function...its going to be an internal limiter not the usual vsync style limit.
