Need For Speed - Shift 2

Ja, Hot pursuit lyk sweet! But I'm waiting for the price to go down :p

I was playing CS till 1 morning ... CS!

HP is fcking awesome, seeing as you're obviously a huge action fan, it bridges the racing / action gap nicely.

Dude eerlikwaar, dit voel meer soos n expansion as soos n hele ander game 2 jaar later tbh.

Cool, laat weet :)

I have been a big fan of the NFS Hot Pursuit games though, so I'm not at all doubting that I would like it.

Mkay.
Drifting in this game is lol. On Elite Difficulty, and my G25 set to 720 rotation, the nissan 200SX spins out in third gear going 25KPH :| . I have driven a couple of 400HP+ drift cars in real life and I am yet to see one spin out doing 25KPH, in a straight line, in third gear :/ On "Pro" it does the same, then drop it down to "Experienced", and everything changes, it becomes waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to easy. I also noticed that the cars' engines don't change in note when you upgrade them. I took a Focus ST from scratch up to max, Skyline R32 GT-R and an Evo 9 MR, and with all 3 the only time the engine note changed, was with increased gearbox whine. I have to note that I love the new upgrade system though, Injectors, filters , Decat etc. They actually did a bit of homework here, as most of the replacement parts and their descriptions are spot on. I can see there is an improvement with the AI, as they actually swerve out not to hit you, and they are more "clean" in their racing style, But it doesn't mean they are not aggressive. I have not had the chance to test the Online Multiplayer though, and I guess that is where the game will shine. Overall I still feel like this is more of an expansion or big DLC than an entirely new game, but I'd still recommend it if you need a track racing fix.

I have been playing NFS: Undercover and I am finding it pretty boring at the moment. It just takes forever and seems too easy. I think Underground 2 remains the best. No game matches the drifting in NFS:UG2.
