notice the other night it was also a free to play game. downloaded it and must say it feels better than most wanted. anyone else playing this?
 
I play it off and on. Main reason why I got back into it is because they're going to add drag racing via patch at the end of 2012 (if they haven't done that already). I absolutely loved NFSU 1's drag racing and wish they bring out an NFS game dedicated just to underground drag racing again. :D

I'd say yes, the latency for racing on the EU server is really good and I managed to win quite a number of races as well.

PS: Just logged in again now and it appears as if the drag racing patch has been released, 576MB update. Good times ! :D

Daar is Drag racing in die Shift 2 DLC.
 
cool. will check out the drag racing tonight. also use to love that in NFSU1. had a mazda mx-5 so fast when i use to drag with it i use to have to leave the throttle every few seconds or id blow the engine.
 
I remember this where you drag race and you have 4 1st place winners because of latency.

Some days it was okay but mostly the latency was just a big problem in intense races.
 
What the download size?? The updater is so F*cked up, shows its just over 900 mb's but google Says its more...

I think the initial install was something like 1.8GB, but keep in mind with all of the patches and content updates it will be in excess of 2GB-3GB.

That's correct, there are 4 shards in total, two EU and two US. Obviously it's best to play on one of the EU shards. I play on the EU Apex one.
 
I think I'm going to download the game, I played it once and it was good. It should work well on Windows 8 right?

My folder size currently on 2.77GB

Edit: It's download after download with this updater. Don't know why it doesn't just download the complete package in one go.
