Say what you will about the upcoming Need for Speed, and its always online requirement ruining any excitement you had for the game, it is impossible to deny that the game looks gorgeous and beautiful. Like so many of its fellow racing games this generation – Mario Kart 8, DriveClub, Forza Horizon 2, Forza Motorsport 6 – Need for Speed looks striking.

The cars look absolutely incredible. What is more, you will be able to customize everything about them- from their wheels, tires, rims, brake discs, hoods, bumpers, headlights, wing mirrors, exhausts, to tuning their engines and suspension to even changing the license plates, everything is fair game, and everything can be changed and spruced to your liking, just like the old school Need for Speed Underground games.

Need for Speed will launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in November this year.

*Yawn* I want actual game play. Not the 30 minute timed demo that everyone has got. The customisation has only shown the body work that can be done. I want to see how the engine can be modified too.

Hmmm, sorry for the PC gamers

…an unlocked frame rate in Need for Speed is a massive priority for you, and we fully agree. To deliver this, we’ve made the decision to move the PC release date to Spring 2016.

This decision on PC gives us the necessary development time to increase the visuals that we can deliver on PC. We will also include content updates that will have been released on console up to that time, making them available to all PC players from day one.

Well, the witcher 3 also looked "gorgeous" before it was released ;)

It looks gorgeous after release as well :p

As for NFS, I haven't played a NFS title since Hot Pursuit (the newer one) I think. If this will be like the old Most Wanted, I'll definitely give it a go. I loved that game.

Well i'm pretty excited for this one now. But i'll wait for the reviews before picking it up.
