Need help! Need to buy a printer (Joker would be good on this one)

Hi Guys & Gals,

Does anybody know of a retailer (online is fine) that sells Color Laser printers like the HP 2025 and up for a good price. Even a BiG one like HP4025. I've seen comx is quite good. Anybody know of something else?

Don't know much about that particular HP printer but we have the HP 1600 Colour Laser Jet and from that I wouldn't really recommend HP. Have you checked out Canon at all. From what I have heard Canon are better quality.
 
STAY AWAY FROM HP PRINTERS!!!!!

If it breaks, YOU have to courier it to Let Me Repair (or whoever is the new agents for them.), not the place where you bought it from.

If you looking for a proper printer, get a Brother printer.

I can help you with that if you need.
 
HP printers are fine, just never get a carousel-style color laser printer. They WASTE toner!!!
 
Don't get a printer! They make funny noises, eat paper and squirt black stuff!

No, in fact I have... You may have one bad experience, but I never had problems. At my previous company, we used only HP and we had a lot of them.... Who else makes a printer with the same quality that has better after sales service? (No guessing here :) )
 
The only issue I know of with HP printers...Driver support for windows 7 is pretty crap.

Let me repair is by the worst service provider for HP ever!!! I hate them!!

This is true, I've had endless issues with a P2055 printer that will connect in one usb port but not another and if you try install the drivers while plugged into another port, the drivers corrupt THEMSELVES!!!! Then you have to search for them physically and delete them yourself and reinstall from scratch. It's a real pain in the ass... I dunno how HP are going to cope when Win 8 comes out...

Dude.

I work in the most well known IT retailer in P.E. I have to deal with HP warranties almost on a weekly basis. It's a freaking nightmare, which is why we have stopped selling HP printers, or if the client insists on having one, we tell them that they have to sort it out.

Brother is FAR better imo.

Kuga is right, Brother is a really good printer brand. Wise Kuga is wise.
 
We used brother line printers, they are good. Haven't dealt with their color lasers yet.

The biggest IT retailer in PE? That must be about as big as my PC spares drawer? :eek: :D:D:D

I dunno if I should take offense to that or not..

Anywho, ask anyone from P.E who they think the biggest retailer is, and 9/10 times, it will be us ;)
