Basically I am building a new pc just want some advice and if all components are compatible and there is enough space
I dont have a budget yet but just working out what I can get and if it will work

I just want a gaming rig no need for to much else I have keyboard, mouse, HDs, screen, headphones

Would like to play:
Crisis 2
Guild Wars 2
Diablo III
Sleeping Dogs
BFBC 2
Dirt 3
and a few others on almost best settings

so far what i have been reaserching (** mean probably going to get **)

Case: **R1,589 NZXT Phantom Black case and 5xfans**

CPU: **R2,404 Intel i5 3570K**

PSU: R 760 Corsair GS600, 600w

Motherboard: R2,728 PRO P8Z77 V ASUS
or
R3,170 PRO/THUNDERBOLT P8Z77 V ASUS
or
R3,506 Delux P8Z77 V ASUS

GPU: R6,822 ASUS ENGTX680/2GD5, GTX680, 2GB 256bit DDR5, 28nm, 3-way SLi support, Pci-E 3.0
or
R6,343 ASUS GTX680-DC2T-2GD5, GTX680, 2GB 256bit DDR5, with DirectCU II dual fan design
or
R6,463/R6,822(OC v) GIGABYTE GV-N680OC-2GD, GTX680, 2GB/2048MB 256bit DDR5, with WindForce3, 3 fans

Ram: R 517 Corsair Vengeance 8GB DDR3-1600 Black Kit (2x4GB) - CL9 XMP
or
R 638 Kingston HyperX T2 Predator 8GB DDR3-1600 Kit (2x4GB) 1.65V CL9

Most of my computer stuff I get from rebeltech.co.za if that will help

1)Is there anything I should save money on get better or not get?
2)Should I get almost everything of the same brand?
3)Should I run OS on a SSD, does it help that much?
4)Is there room for SLI at a later stage?
5)Should I get a larger power supply for later or will it be ok for now?
6)Will I need a better CPU cooler than stock cooler with i5?
7) Which GPU, Mobo and ram should i get (Should I get best or is it just a waist)?
8) Is the build sufficient for what I am wanting to do?
9) anything else I should know before getting everything and building?

Anything will help thanks

Here you go:

i5 3570k
Antec KÜHLER 620 + 2x Cooler Master SickleFlow, 120mm Push Pull Config
ASRock Z77 Extreme6
Corsair Vengeance 8GB DDR3-1600 Black Kit (2x4GB)
Corsair TX650M
Corsair Carbide 500R
ASUS HD7970-3GD5 or MSI R7970 Lightning

Ok 1st things 1st.

If you want to overclock you'll need better cooling hence the reason why I included the Antec Kuhler with the push pull fan config.
The power supply you wanted was cheap and I don't believe on skimping on a PSU, I changed it for a much better Corsair TX650M.
I changed the case to a much better quality chassis with ample space and really good looks and its roughly R400 less expensive than the Nzxt Phantom. The Phantom is a good case but the plastic exterior is super cheap and can crack really easily.
A ssd is a nice item to have but remember all it does is improve load times. It doesn't help in gaming performance ect.
I changed the Mobo to a FANTASTIC ASRock board which is around R1000 less expensive than the Asus boards and offer all the same bells and whistles,
GPU wise, the 7970 is the fastest GPU in the world, with the new drivers the performance increase is insane. Also you get a much larger memory bus and more vid memory at no extra cost.

On a side note I build custom pc's for a living so if you need any more help or info please drop me a pm.

I probably wont be OC now so ill hold back on the extra cooling

Why do you rate gpu mobo and psu better than what I have already just for intrest sake?

Still trying to find out what I really need/ want

thanks for the help so far ill probably ask for more help soon
Where do you recomend buying it all from?

On the gpu front the 7970's are now the fastest single gpu's on Earth, toughly 7-10% faster than the GTX680.
They are also a lot cheaper than the 680 and they offer more vid memory and a bigger memory bus.

The psu you picked is a cheap psu, A psu is the single most important part on a pc.
If you use a bad quality psu the chances of it taking another component with it when it dies is quite high, so rather spend a bit more and get something better.

As for the motherboard, I don't see the point of spending nearly R3000 on a Asus board when you can have the ASRock Extreme 6 with the same features for more than a R1000 less. They are fantastic boards and I recommend them to all my clients.

You can buy it all from me :D I have built many rigs for members on this forum :).

I would like to get a full tower case rather than a mid tower so do you recomend anything else or do you think it will be ample?

So far ill probably get :
i5 3570k
Corsair Vengeance 8GB DDR3-1600 Black Kit (2x4GB)
ASUS HD7970-3GD5(Most likely)
Corsair TX650M

Then will the ASRock E6 have enough room for SLI in the future if I upgrade to it?
and Ill probably go for the Antec KÜHLER if I decide to OC later

Thanks for all the help where are you situated and how can I contact you if I need help in the future?

I would say stick with the Corsair 500R if you really are set on a full tower look at the Cooler Master Trooper or Lian Li PC-V2010
The Extreme 6 will be fine for sli/cf in the future. As long as you don't run a gpu with a triple slot cooler. Which is why I recommended that GPU.

I'll pm you my contact details.
