Hi peeps

Need so help, any know where i can find either one of these keyboards in a retail store (in Johannesburg)?

Thermaltake eSports "Challenger Pro" Gaming Keyboard

Microsoft sidewinder x6

I know the online websites have them, but im looking for a retail store so i can actually check it out before I purchase either one.

Inter Computers are retailers for Thermaltake stuff.

Or like he said Zaps or the online retailers can work.

I would not really buy from Ikonicit... they very lax when returning my friends motherboard for a broken lan card (some times not working)... the first time they had it for 2 weeks and said nothing is wrong with it... he got it back and the lan card was blown, so he sent it back, they said they will send it in, he got it back 2 weeks later and they said the lan card was blown... and its not covered under warranty. the box he gave the motherboard in came back totally destroyed. and he paid 2.8k for this motherboard.
So take care if you buy something from them....

DONT BUY THE SIDEWINDEr MOUSE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow

i used a X8 at the office whislt I send my G9x back for a swap out after the cable had a loose wire ( unfortunately not a uncommon problem with G9x mice )

The sensor on the Sidewinder was so incredibly ( for a lack of any other word ) 5hi7 that when i got my g9x back i nearly jizzed every where. Having to work on Photoshop and editing fine details i only realized how terrible that x8 was.

I will never ever regard it is anything close to a gaming grade mouse.

best price I could find for you ( i checked 7 places ) was prophecy http://www.prophecy.co.za/product_info.php?products_id=96846

for a mouse in the same price range id pay the little bit extra and get a G500

Almost no one i know uses logitech any more as a gaming option.

Every one has Steelseries or Roccat, In my clan im one of 2 people using it currently and out of the top cod 4 teams ive played against on lans less that 5% used logitech.

I am a huge fan and wont game with anything else.

So it comes down to personal choice.

THe most used gaming mouse ever was the Logitech Mx 518 and you can still find them at certain places.

Sometimes Cranky can be so... cranky?

Well in any case the X6 is extremely rare right now. And I can't really find a online shop (not even thinking about retail) where they have it in stock or the supplier has some units in stock. It's a scary thought that that specific keyboard might be at it's end.

The Thermaltake however is in stock at places. And your best bet would be to phone a local store and ask them to source one for you if they don't have stock.

I still love my x4. One of the best keyboards ever in my opinion. It's almost 2 years old now and it still looks brand new and works like a charm.

G15 all the way! Have had both versions.. Prefer the first version (blue one)

Ive had a G15 ( the blue ship )
G15 orrange
G510
G11

But have you had the Logitech Media keyboard. How can you say you are a huge Logitech fan boy if you haven't had that yet. I have 1 sitting here if you want to buy it lol.
Then you will be a bigger fan boy. Think of all the possibilities :D

i have that TT e-sports ultimate keyboard.

and its awesome.......
nice macro keys.
change back light colors.

and i thought that little fan is useless. till i used it and its quite a cool little gimmick.
makes a big difference when the battle heats up

ive got about 5 different Logitech Keybaords the last I bought was the Mx3000 bundle I think :D I just mentioned my G series keyboards :D

And Im not boasting about having money to buy them . almost 90% of my computer equipment was won or was bought with money I won from gaming at LAN events.
