So this thread of GregRedd got me thinking, do you monitor your network usage/internet usage at home in real time?
I have a dual screen setup, so I run NetMeter in the bottom right of my second screen so I can always see what usage is going through my LAN port. It is useful when I play online games because I can immediately see if something decided to start downloading and I can stop it.
I can also quickly see if I am getting my max line speed or not, so I know if I have to restart my modem (I am quite a distance from the exchange, so my line sometimes syncs at a slower speed).

I also use TCPView to find what is using bandwidth on my PC when I don't know what is. I usually manually check the typical culprits (Steam, Windows, Origin) and if it isn't one of them I open TCPView to see what is downloading. Then I can stop it if I want or at least I know what is going on.

I also put netmeter on my wifes PC, so if my PC isn't downloading anything but I still have latency I can just check on her PC (which is right next to mine).
Our phones don't auto update apps, so I don't need to monitor usage via my router/modem.
So what do you guys use, if anything, to monitor your network at home?
