New $10 Raspberry Pi Zero W includes Wi-Fi and Bluetooth

The Raspberry Pi Zero W – a new variant of Raspberry Pi Zero with wireless LAN and Bluetooth – has launched and is selling for $10 (around R130).

Rather spend the extra money for a rpi3. It's quite a bit more but well worth it.

Quad core vs single core.
Double the memory
Full sized HDMI
4x USB

The diff in USB ports in particular is a show-stopper on the Zero...remember you'll want to attach mouse, keyboard & storage to this somehow...so with a Zero you'll likely end up buying a USB hub anyway which is stupid

Also fyi - the zero is sold at a loss. So rather get the more expensive model if you're not an edu outfit.

The Pi3 is a little workhorse. The Pi Zero and Zero W's are more like one trick ponies.

I like to use the Zero for running simple websites (using Apache, MySQL and PHP) which the Zero handles well. The Zero W will mean that I can plonk it somewhere without the need of running a cable or sacrificing the USB port for a WiFi dongle.
