New 2015 Audi TT Revealed

Geneva Motor Show - After starting life as a head-turner of note in 1998 then evolving into a somewhat conservative form last decade, Audi's TT now enters its third generation.

While its elegantly geometric lines make it instantly recognisable as a TT, its lines are more muscular, particularly at the front end where it recalls some of Audi's recent concept cars with its flatter headlights and broader grille lending it a more predatory look. Xenon plus headlights are standard and Audi's snazzy new Matrix LED lights have made it onto the options list.

Despite being roughly the same length as its predecessor, Audi has shaved about 50kg off the new TT by taking the Audi Space Frame body (featuring a combo of aluminium steel) a step further. As a result the lightest version of the TT weighs just 1230kg.

I have been waiting for the release of this car for ages now, and I have to say that I'm very disappointed with the result. Where's the "wow" factor that TT's used to bring to the party? This is a facelift at best of an old design.

What makes it worse is that Audi is going to ask R600,000+ for this car. No thanks. Pick up a used TTRS and say goodbye to this failed attempt.

It looks good but the one between this one and the first one liked much better i like this one but it is missing something

I'm really loving the angular design of cars lately. The original one was too bubbly and IMO they've taken the right steps to creating the right car. Very nice.

Not a car design that will win my heart. It's a bit boring. Too many straight lines and no real wow factor. It's not appealing to me at all.

I loved this car when it first came out... Cant say im blown away by the new model... Pretty average...

Only the front is appealling to me. I always enjoy seeing those distinctively-shaped headlights.
