No it fkin won't. The latest and greatest iFruit will be +-20% technically inferior to Android spec-wise.
People (myself included) will still pay 50% more for the device that has 20% inferior specs if it has superior polish an usability though. ALL modern phones are "good enough" from a processing power perspective. Only fools are comparing specs 1:1 at this point.
Google has repeatedly demonstrated they're happy to fk me over...the pattern has certainly been noted...
