New BT Games stores opening across the country.

Any news on console prices_giveaways etc

I hope they have some cool opening specials.

I have been shopping at Woolworths, both Tygervalley and Canal Walk, has games and consoles and the prices are better.

I phoned around in the week to BTgames to ask about xbox360 prices and the cheapest xbox 360 consoles were at Woolworths as they also add in a R200 voucher if u buy on a woolies card etc.

So, though gr8, there prices are not that cheap and they can be arrogant in that the price is the price, no budging / discounts etc.

Here are the opening specials: Xbox 360 elite R2999.95, PS3 Uncharted 2 bundle R3999.95, Wii R2199.95, Uncharted 2 and Forza 3 R499.95 each.
 
So I went to go check out the Canal Walk BT Games today and it's quite disappointing. It's even smaller than the Tygervalley one, which I didn't think would be possible. The Musica megastore there has larger game collection. Oh well.
 
The durban one is also very small, seems to be a trend for them. Its a great store with many of the top games, but I'm usually in and out in about 5 minutes.
 
I could see on the map it would be tiny. One of those places you go to knowing what you want, not one of those places you go to and browse for potential new stuffs.
