Yeah... I do think that they are overdoing this a bit. Why not make one every 2 years and bring out better DLC? I would rather want to play one CoD and have great DLC's than have to buy a new one just as I got used to it. I am looking at Ghosts and even though I loved BO2 and played it to death, I now feel meh about Ghosts. I will get it if I can either win it in a comp or get it at a massively reduced price.

For me it has become stale and once you've played one you've played them all... almost. :)

Their motivation begins and ends with money. Why bring out a game bi-annually when you can milk it every single year? They did the same with Guitar Hero, but at least with GH the franchise eventually died.

On the other hand, I really like Treyarch's CoD titles. It's just Infinity Ward that has trouble doing anything interesting with the game. With MW3 I played the first mission of the campaign and it felt the exact same as MW2. I didn't even bother playing past that.

Interesting that Treyarch developed the Wii U versions of Ghosts!

This franchise doesn't know how not to produce a game a year. Just amazes me how the people just keep coming back for another.
