New commenting strategy

I'm going to comment on every new post that pops up in news articles and see what happens.

*Yeah I could have posted this in Tk or else where but new threads hey.

Brilliant idea! I'll also try and be more active in commenting. And I'm going to try and comment in such a way as to generate discussion. Or should I rather stay quiet and mind my own business?

I do expect commenting on those article to be rather difficult though.

That is where i draw the line, I am sad to admit but I cannot even read the articles at the moment. I dont mind that they are reposts from mybb, my problem is 90% of them have no substance. They state something and nothing all. I am enjoying most of the articles that are on sagamer these days. I do try to comment where i can, but if I have nothing to say then I feel its better to shut up than give a random useless one liner

Unfortunately MyGaming has been abandoned and we won't be getting decent articles. If we want MyGaming to survive then we will have to generate the content.

And it gets difficult. With the forum being so dead, I almost felt like giving up. I'm a busy man and it felt like a battle that can't be won.

But I'm glad to see that people are trying again and I hope we can generate some activity.

Unfortunately it won't be from news articles. We will really just have to keep the forums alive.
 
MyGaming is now our own apocalyptic world where we have to survive and there's something romantic about that. We'll just have to watch out for the occasional zombie attack.

I am extremely sad to hear and see what is happening with MyGaming. Its sad that MyGaming has all been abandoned and the articles are just not coming in. I thought the site was making progress and growing. The forum has been extremely good to me over the year, and I've made some dear friends on here. I would be so sad to lose that. Also Soli, where-ever you go after MyG, i guarantee you most us will follow you.

Hey thanks Hammer. Sorry I've been a bit down about MyGaming over the last while. You guys are my friends and I see more and more of you disappearing. I know everyone's busy but it's tough to see MyGaming so quiet.

And thanks for being willing to join me! Should I leave, it will only be as a last resort and it most likely won't happen this year.

Lets see what happens.

How's Australia? Also, completely off topic, but how much does a Switch cost in Australia?

Yeah we'll see what happens with the forum. We will keep it on life support as long as we can. i know I do not post as often anymore, but the work here in Australia has been kicking my ass, and the time difference sucks.

Also, my Switch cost $465, with one game included, Has-Been Heroes. Got Zelda as well for $70, for a total of $535. So roughly converted that would be about R5350

I can believe that it's difficult for you to post over there with the time difference. And I completely understand the work thing. Sometimes it just takes too much time and takes so much out of you that you just can't post. I get the same sometimes.

And wow, I didn't realise the Switch costs that much! My sister lives in Australia and I thought I can maybe sponsor her son one but not at that price!

Keep doing what you're doing dude!! It helps, and I've also tried to comment more, even though when I actually get time to be on the forum everyone's asleep and I have my own echo chamber. Lead by example dude!! I honestly think there has been a marginal increase in activity the past week or so.
