New computer

Hello!
Yea just need a pc that will last me like 3 - 6 months...
So far I have:
Motherboard
Asus M4A785D-M pro
Ram
Patriot Sector 5 G series (2x2gb)
Processor
AMD Athlon IIx2 240
Graphics card
HIS ATI 5770
Power supply
Atrix 720w black

What should I change for something of the same price and what should I upgrade after 6 months? (other that the Processor)

Drop the 5770 and get a 4890 or 5850

ok cool just 5850 is bit over the budget but I don't think the 4890 is..

my advice is go for the athlon 2 x4 (620) its only about R500 more and it aint no slouch, recently built 1 for a friend and its gaming performance is almost neck and neck with phenom 2 x4 system (my I7 still whips it though )

4890 will be slightly better or perform the same but who knows how dx 11 is gonna boost the 5850's performance and how much the card is going to improve with future drivers.Performance diffidence between the two is minimal though.

Then I'm gonna get a new system...
Its just I miss my PC games!

A 4770 should be fine till then.Nothing extreme
Edit:Even a 4850/4870 is fine.

Maybe I should go for small parts but a hectic motherboard and nice RAM..
Then I upgrade the rest!

i rate take the 5770 over the 4890 for the simple reason the the 500 series is DirectX 111 ready and has eyefinity in it whish is like really awesome. Also the specs on the 5770 is fine cos later on down the lane you could always crossfire it should you need more power. Or jus save to a 5850/70
