New GFX card or SLI ?

That woeful time is encroaching when I shall have to upgrade . However I am contemplating going the SLI route perhaps.

I have currently a GTX 660 OC; and a budget of +-R3000.

So what you guys think would be the best option.

That board doesn't support sli as far I know bud.
Single card solutions are def a better option in your case.

Sell your 660, should get around R1800 for it and then look at grabbing a R9 280X.

a 280X will run on a good quality 500w without a problem.

Picking up a Z77 board now will be extremely difficult as most of them are EOL and there is almost no stock available.
If you do manage to find one and it supports sli then yes 2x 660's will be great.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Got the 2nd GTX for a ridiculously reduced price so I went with that
