New gpu

Is it a decent card? If you're going to use it for a media center or such, it is fine. If you plan on gaming, you won't get far.
Is it a decent card for the price? Well, you won't get anything brand new that is better for the price. You can perhaps look at second hand GPU's in the R1k range and you might pick up an old GTX275 or similar for R1k somewhere?

Tsar you are better off going with a 2nd hand card for your money mate.

For your budget you should be able to pick up something like a GTX660 or a 7850.
Much better value for money. Just read the rules on the site and make sure you get a proof of purchase and packaging for warranty purposes.

Can someone give me some feedback on this, is there something wrong with Powercolor cards? I currently have an old one which seems fine. Just wondering if this is a good deal or not.
The only compliant I have of their 7870 myst is that it gets quite loud with the custom profile I set to keep it in the 70s zone under full load. The fan became noisy after a year that I had it. I replaced the fan and it's working well as it did before.

I'd buy the brand again especially at that price.

That's kind of how I feel, I currently have a powercolor and haven't had any issues. Its been about 2 years with no issues, which is about how long I keep a card for. The price just seems to good to miss.
