I am busy looking for new hardware and re-build my PC, current things i got in mind.

CPU: Intel® Core™ i7 2600K - 3.40GHz Quad Core, Socket 1155, 8MB L3, DMI Bus, 32nm, x64,Intel HT,Intel VT, Intel HD Graphics @ 850MHz, 3 Year

Motherboard: GIGABYTE® G1.SNIPER 2: Z68 Express Chipset: Socket LGA1155, 2.5GT/s DMI, Supports: 2nd Generation Pentium, Core i3, i5 & i7 LGA1155

Memory: Transcend® JetRam™ High-Performance 4GB DDR3-1333 240-Pin Module : CL9, 6-Layer PC Board, Life-Time Warranty x4

I am just not sure what case yet.. I was thinking this one:

And i will be using my current PSU that is the GIGABYTE® ODIN 585W 24-Pin Power Supply.

And will be using my current GTX460 SE Gigabyte.

Let me know if i should change something perhaps, opinions and suggestions are welcome please :)

that PSU is leaning towards not having enough power :/

get the antec 900IIV3 or cm690 tbh. or any of the antec DF ranges.. Im a big fan of antec.

ID rather stick with the current chassis and get a new PSU gx 650 or 750 ar antec HC 700w +

upgrade it now and your set for 5 years.

Ja, that power supply is not good enough, not even close i'm afraid. The Gigabyte ODIN 585W is not a 585 watt power supply but rather closer to 400 watts.

I would :

Drop to a 2500k
Get a cheaper board, that board you have is retarded - Something like the Asus P67 Sabertooth
Get better RAM, something like Kingston Hyper X Blu 1600 -
Change case to CM 690 II Advanced or HAF X :P
Remaining budget on a graphics card, maybe a 560Ti

You really don't need a 2600k and that stupid board. Rather get faster/better ram and a graphics card.

I agree with Kuga on this. Although I would say sell you're current gpu and put that cash towards a GTX560TI
Also try getting a Nzxt Phantom or Coolermaster Storm Trooper.

Well, i run a gigabyte 585 odin, gigabyte x58a-ud3r rev 2.0 board, i7 950, 3x2gb ram set,gigabyte hd6850 gpu, 1.5TB drive, in a sumo case, No hassle at all !!

Agreed, although I'll recommend the CM Storm Enforcer, but that is personal preference.

I personally think that is a crap chassis. I really hate chassis' that have doors.

But like you said, everyone has their own taste in chassis'.. Mhm. This got me thinking, maybe someone should start a thread as to what their favorite chassis' are?

Dude, that Case is awesome! I have a Gigabyte Aurora and I received a lot of extra goodies in the case. Gigabyte makes strong, good looking cases with good optional extras/add-ons.
