I want to replace my Logitech Internet 350 KB and G5 mouse. Had good service from them, but it is time.

What would you guys recommend? Budget is about R1k (for both) and could go a little more if need be.

I would go R1.5K is i was you.

If you had a G5 then you might like the G500,it's a standard solid gaming mouse for most gamers.

Most solid keyboards are expensive,i got my blackwindow for a bargain, they are usually priced between 1.2k and 1.8k which is a bit expensive.

What is the difference between a normal KB and a mechanical KB, except the price?

Is it worth going mech or stay with a normal KB?

You can press an unlimited number of keys on a mechanical keyboard and they will all register,a mechanical keyboard also feels more responsive.

Oh and cherry keys.

Yes I do. Need it to do the alt part for special characters (é, ê, Ó, ë, ì) and invoicing in excel. Not going to pay another R500 to get a usb numpad.

I'll have to wait for online retailers to get stock of Razer Blackwindow KB's, or another KB.

Supplier in Pta: Razer BlackWidow Keyboard Tournament Stealth Edition (2013 Ed.) We only expect stock in June 2013.

Supplier in Cpt: Razer BlackWidow - Mechanical Gaming Keyboard - End of Life Our suppliers have informed us that the product has been discontinued and is consequently no longer in supply.

The Razer looks nice, it has macro buttons and the windows key (I am used not to press it while gaming, and sometimes use it to quick switch while ingame to answer skype)

The Quickfire Pro does not look bad either but lack a few stuff.
