New keyboard?

No way guys , with all due respect the widow is a awesome KB but as most agree and users on here have the X6 is awesome
7 months into mine im still finding new ways to use it , game detection and personalised layouts per game plus pure design
I think the x6 is more than a winner for a long time I considered the Kats and the Logitecs but in the end the X6 is the best choice I made.

Have you tried a mech keyboard?

The X6 might be slightly cheaper, but the razer is still a razer, with macro's etc.

The razer just doesn't have the audio and usb ins in the cheaper model (is a feature of the ultimate).

With that said, i think you will not be disappointed with either. The X6 is a great keyboard and there are some good specials on them.

I agree with you but i also have to say that i have not tried a mech keyboard but i have also said that i cant see a benefit to a mech keyboard besides that it is going to last me longer. I know when i push a "w" down cause i go forward, i dont need a click to tell me that it is working because i am moving forward. So what are the other benefits that i wont get with an X6?

It isn't the click that is important. Otherwise the cherry black (no click) would not be the best one. It is the feel of the keyboard that is a total improvement over plastic domes. I guess i am not doing a great job at using words to describe it, but you should really give it a go. If you know of a gamer shop nearby, go give them a try.

i have pushed in the keys of a Mech keyboard, it really does not feel that different, defiantly not game changing. I can feel when i push in a key on my keyboard as well. So i really don't think its for me. Maybe the next time i buy a keyboard i will try it. I blame you if i don't like it. You will also be the first to know if i like it!

LOL. blame away, i say that because i don't think you will be disappointed. The clicky type is only really to allow you to type in word processors etc. For gaming the non-clicky ones are better.

Funny enough, I had both the X4 and X6, both of which I sold not long after I had them (about 6 months worth of usage on both).
The paint on the key's started to fade, and the X6 is just a pain when you have to remove the keypad all the time moving it from one place to another (LAN'ing).
