New Modern Warfare 2 map pack confirmed

Hmmm...a bit too early for my liking.

Give us VIP protection mode. That would be awesome.

P.S. Plassie if you ever decide to play it again you are hearby banned from playing VIP protection.
 
oh fcukit, this will dilute the player pool even more, how the hell are we going to syncronise players between 3 seprate map packs? If they keep doing this their going to have to add a player counter to the Find Game menu so you can see how many people are playing which game type within a 150ms latency. dammit.

By the way there is an Iw emulator which people are playing Modern Warfare 2(with DLC) for free with pirated copy.

Yeh sorry to burst ur bubbles there is gonna be a 3rd one as well :rolleyes: not sure when its going to be released though :rolleyes:
 
[UPDATED] Earlier than many of us suspected, Modern Warfare 2 will get another 5 new maps in 3 weeks!

We all remember the day the Stimulus package was released like the day of yesterday, but today our contact from Activision send us a press release that announces new DLC (downloadable content) for Modern Warfare 2! The pack will be called the Resurgence Pack and will hit first on the Xbox LIVE network worldwide on June 3rd, which is exactly 3 weeks from now!

Nothing has been said about a price or the other platforms (PS3/PC) but it's highly likely that this pack will cost $15 and will again be exclusive for Xbox 360 for 30 days.

The Resurgence Pack will feature five maps and will be celebrated with 2 (yep, two!) double XP weekends.

* Friday, June 4

Thanks to a very early update from Robert Bowling has linked us to an interview he recently did with Major Nelson of Xbox LIVE. In the interview, he talks about everything in the map pack, including names and descriptions, which will be provided below.

Here is a brief description of each of the 5 confirmed maps in the Resurgence Pack.
Vacant [Call of Duty 4]

Wide open Russian office complex. Updated with new visuals and atmosphere. There will be different routes through this map, depending on which game type you are playing.
Strike [Call of Duty 4]

The classic map with the large monument in the middle. Visual and atmosphere updates as well.
Carnival [New]

A fairly large deserted Amusement park set in the daytime. Many different locations within the map, such as a house of the future, a roller coaster, and many other things. The fun house is a main vantage point.
Trailer Park [New]

A trailer park(no way!) set near the campaign level "Boneyard". It is a close-quarters map for objective game modes. Choke points are apparently obvious. Running and Gunning, check.
Fuel [New]

A completely different map than the others in the Resurgence Pack. It is "a sniper heaven", and it's big. Fuel is an oil refinery broken into 2 sections, one being the outdoors with things such as pumps, while there is another part in the offices of the refinery. The objectives will be placed within the building, so snipers can cover from the outside.

The first screenshots of the next Modern Warfare 2 Map Pack have been revealed, showcasing the 3 new maps and 2 CoD4 maps.

Yesterday we reported that the next Modern Warfare 2 downloadable content "Resurgence Pack" had been announced ». The announcement revealed the name and the release date of the map pack while the names and descriptions of each map soon followed.

A day later and the first screenshots of each map have been revealed.
Vacant
