Hey look a point not made since the first trailer aired.
Criteon is making the game so yes there are going to be similarities between this new, and lets face it BETTER, NFS series and the old brilliant Burnout series. I am not sure why exactly some people seem to think this is a bad thing considering the dismal state the NFS series was when Blackbox was molesting it. Hot Pursuit showed that Criteon "got" a NFS game should feel like and this, while similar to Paradise in many ways, is a definite step up from The Run.

Lets just pretend ! The run never Existed ! Blackbox was Shit indeed, they only made 2 good nfs games, hot pursuit 2 (They only did the ps2 version which was brilliant and most wanted) every other nfs game they made where aimed at F&F Fanbois

And I'm a F&F fanboi and not even I liked the games... I only like Hot Pursuit 2 and Most Wanted, can't remember who made Underground 2 but like that also. NFS Hot Pursuit from Criterion was the shizz!!!

Exactly it was fresh something different. Most Wanted looks like the best of both worlds, Arcade racing with awesome crashes and an massive truly open world.

Gran Turismo really spoiled other car games for me... I've been on track days and advanced driving courses, so I have a rough idea of how a car should handle. I played some need for speed game recently, and I came stone last on the easiest setting... turns out, braking for the corner was my downfall, you need to mash the throttle around every corner, and this will kick the back of the FWD hatchback out and get around the corner... a pity, but I just can't do these games anymore!

I never said anything of that sort. I just said, I'm used to cars the way they are, and my brain just can't adjust to the ridiculous arcade nonsense. Reading comprehension = smart.

Everyone, over 18, is use to cars the way they are. With a few possible Darwin Award Candidates being the exception nobody tried to take a 90 degree turn at full throttle or expects to hit another car head on and, after doing some impressive mid-air barrel roles, the drive away. Its part of the reason we game, I know how a gun fires, I know that taking a bullet to the head isn't going to give me a 10 second timeout before letting me jump back into the fight in a random location but that doesn't stop me from playing shooters.
If you want to drive according to the laws of physics, and which ever country you live in, then get in a car, go to a track and drive. If you want to watch two lime green koenigsegg ccx collide before flying end over end through the air before continues the race to the thunderous sounds of you friends going "DID YOU FUCKING SEE THAT" then play a game specifically NFS Hot Pursuit since the whole car flipping thing totally happened and as Murph and Grimspoon are my witnesses it was FUCKING AWESOME.
