Have you tried your mouse on another pc or in safe mode to be sure its not a software issue? Pointless buying another mouse when it ends up being the actual PC at fault.

I would go for any logitech mouse you can find since they great manufacturers

I actually took it apart a hour or so ago, seems to be better now, will see if it stays that way though.

G400 is the best mouse for value by far. Ive got a couple of R1000 odd mice taht i dont use as the G400 ( R450 ) mouse feels better than any of them

I am still loving my Roccat mouse so I would recommend that.
Otherwise Logitech are very good mouse

Struggling to break the mx518 so I can justify buying a G500 or G700 maybe..

They're just so tough 😞

Ask Senticall about his Logitech mouse.

First one broke, second one double clicks when you click once.

Both G500's.

At work I use an Anywhere MX at work and an old G9x at home for play. Both have lasted ages and are really good Logitech mice. I am definitely not touching the G500.

anyone have or use a rat 3? the more expensive mice actually don't look comfortable they look bulky with all those programmable buttones then again looks can be deceiving.

You know I have a friend with the PMGS2 Prestigio that also started to go. He took it apart and welded the part that was coming loose and it worked nicely ever since. That's quite a nice mouse.

I have a R.A.T7 Contagion, uncomfortable at first but it gets better as you adjust it to your hand.

Logitech G700 is fantastic, just mind you have a look at this thread.

I have two here at the moment; one is used by my mom, the other by me. The one she's using was my first unit that my uncle brought in from America, and after some months of use the left-tilt on the wheel suddenly stopped working. That ended up being a switch fault, so it still doesn't work now almost two years later, but the rest of the mouse works absolutely fine.

On my replacement unit, which Logitech sent me free of charge once they'd gotten the SN of my existing unit, even though I'd been asking them if I couldn't simply have it repaired or replaced somewhere seeing as the mouse was still working, just with the one non-crucial button not functioning... anyway. On the replacement, it has happened a few times that I'd get the click+drag issue with my right mouse button on my G700. Every single time, nothing but opening the mouse up and getting some cat hair out from inside of it would resolve the issue for me.

So in other words, if you have cats/dogs around, you might encounter that issue form time to time. There are people reporting this issue on a few of Logitech's other modern mice as well, but w/e - it's a good mouse even if you run into this problem. Great key customizability, improves productivity an insane amount imo and just being able to switch tabs left/right AND do back/forward with the thumb buttons is already a major plus imo.
