Mad Catz Cyborg R.A.T.7 Contagion Gaming Mouse

Latest mouse from Mad Catz is called Cyborg R.A.T 7 Contagion, and just like the R.A.T.7, this mouse features 6400 DPI twin eye laser sensor that reads each axis separately providing you with the best accuracy. In addition to that, we have to mention that this laser sensor can track up to 6 meters per second. Another interesting feature that Cyborg R.A.T 7 Contagion has to offer is the Rocker Switch that allows you to toggle between your custom DPI settings, and it has five programmable buttons. Just like with the previous models, you can adjust the length of the mouse, but you can also change pinkie grips, palm rests, and weights. This model also has Precision Aim that lets you slow down your mouse movement to a desired value while you hold the Precision Aim button pressed.

Hmm.. Anyone know the difference? Besides the colour?
 
its got a new generation laser... there was some sort of problem with the old lasers as i understand. i have the plain/normal R.A.T 7 and it hasnt given me any issues(Have had it for almost a year now). i personally wouldnt buy a white mouse cause its gonna show dirt quite easily...

+1, no problems with mine either ... definitely wouldnt want a white RAT ... thats just wrong

Ahem... sorry about that... brain derails from time to time.
White mouse is a definite no-no for me.
A grey model would be kinda nice though! I'm getting a bit tired of black peripherals.

What DPI are you guys using on your RAT? Have mine on 1600 for bf3. Don't know why there is a need to go over 4000 DPI
 
My R.A.T 7 gave me problems on old surfaces, so I bought a Cyborg Glide V1 mousepad and no problems to report :D
 
Its amazing, all the old computers where white and looked kak so they went for black and it looked so slick. . . now we going back to white? Whats next a white keyboard? :sick:

Nothing wrong with that case Mappy.

As long as they don't start making ivory white peripherals again we will be ok.
 
I've got a complete Bone White Kit aside from teh Monitor, which Is Why I never use any of my White stuff
Getting a WHite Frame LCD is near impossible in SA

That RAT is pretty nice though

I like the amount of detail they put on this mouse, the color coded cable is a nice touch!

But thats a bit too orange for my taste! :)

I want a RAT 7 so badly, but i bought a Logitec G9x about 3 months ago, so i cant spend another 900 bucks on a mouse :(

You obviously forgot about our beige keyboards and mice we had back then... they were absolutely :sick:
